January Specials

For the month of January, our two Ballroom dance parties, not the Anniversary Party however, will be included in any Unlimited Group Class package. The only criterion is that they must be used in the month of January (and yes, 2012)
January Parties and Outings
-
Our Friday night Ballroom Dance Parties in January will be on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month, 1-13 and 1-27.

Friday January 27 is Luau Night. Come dressed casually and have some fun in the sun in January. 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm. $10 per person. Join us for some fun!

Saturday January 21 is our 6-year Anniversary Party. Come join us in celebration of our anniversary. Without you, we would not have been here for six years and for that matter would not even have a party. 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. $10 per person.
The Month of January

Dance Connections Saturday morning at 9:25 am. The class begins at 9:25 and runs until 10:15.
A nice way to begin your day, just five minutes earlier than before.

Salsa I and Salsa II Monday at 7:30 pm.

Tango (American Style) I/II Tuesday at 8:35 pm.

Foxtrot I/II Wednesday at 8:15 pm.

Cha Cha Thursday at 8:35.

Current and Upcoming Events at The Ballroom

Congratulations to Betty, Brian, Dave, Karen, Kim, and Glenda for participating in this year’s Yuletide Ball competition and a big thank you to all of you who came out and gave them your support. Everyone danced very well.
Congratulations to Betty and Brian, as this was their first competition with Betty placing first in her hustle and in her swing and Brian placing first in all his dances. Dave came in first in his Theatre Art's routine and first in all his rhythm dances, Dave and Karen placed first in all their rhythm dances, Kim won the Ladies A Closed Rhythm Scholarships, and Glenda took Top Newcomer Female. It was a wonderful weekend and really showed the technique, form, and professional presentation from all of The Ballroom students.
A special thank you to Shelia for loaning to Karen (what my standard dances are today and not tomorrow?) a standard ballgown to wear for her competitive dances on Friday.

Our next Dancing with the Ballroom Stars will be on Saturday March 3. 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. $20 per person. Plan on either participating for the coveted mirror ball trophy or just plan on coming and having some fun or perhaps even both.

Our next competition will be the Washington Open Dancesport Competition. These events are a lot of fun and give you a short-term goal to help your dancing grow.
